These ARCHONS (rulers of the lower dimensions) have been described as "LAUGHINGSTOCKS" and those that consider them their lords ~ laughingstocks also. (cf. "THE SECOND TREATISE OF THE GREAT SETH" within THE NAG...) The full truth of the matter of "our predicament" is further explained within another tractate called, 'THE TESTIMONY OF TRUTH' ~~ words that ~ at first glance ~ seem very harsh & very disturbing, but then again, that is what Jesus promised: THAT WE WOULD BE 'DISTURBED' before we can ASCEND:
"But the Son of Man [came] forth from Imperishability, [being] alien to defilement. He came [to the] world through the Jordan river, and immediately the Jordan [turned] back. And John bore witness to the [descent] of Jesus. For it is he who saw the [power] which came down upon the Jordan river; for he knew that the dominion of carnal procreation had come to an end. The Jordan river is the power of the body. that is, the senses of pleasure. The water of the Jordan is the desire for sexual intercourse. John is the archon of the womb.
And this is what the Son of Man reveals to us: It is fittingfor you (pl.) to receive the word of truth. If one will receive it perfectly, -. But as for the one who is [in] ignorance, it is difficult for him to diminish his works of [darkness] which he has done. Those who have known Imperishability, [however], have been able to struggle against [passions...]"
Is it any surprise then that the OTHER John, John the divine and the one loved by Jesus, the one responsible for the fourth gospel in the NEW TESTAMENT, opened his gospel at the river Jordan? Apparently, the 'turning back' of the Jordan ushered in THE TRUTH ~ an event so EARTH-SHAKING, that even the RULERS=ARCHONS stood up & took notice!
THE RULERS ~ and by extension ~ the 'authorities' of this world that "infest" our governments & churches & even MEDIA, are extremely jealous & possessive of their property (as in Charles Fort's intuition in THE BOOK OF THE DAMNED that we are property of someone or something!!!)
The most important fact stands above all: THAT JESUS (AS THE LOGOS) CAME TO EMPOWER THE SPIRIT OF MAN, TO FREE ITSELF WHICH IS PRESENTLY ENCASED IN A SOUL ~ IMPRISONED IN THE BODY; THEREFORE, A 'GRAET ESCAPE' IS NECESSARY!!!
Earlier on, I quoted the GOSPEL OF THOMAS which suggested that once you come to KNOW YOURSELVES, you will become known. May we also say that THE TESTIMONY OF TRUTH is stating as clearly as it can, that we will remain prisoners by the RULERS until we are willing to give back ALL THAT THE CREATOR GOD HAS GIVEN US ~ as in ~ THANKS, BUT NO THANKS!!!
As mentioned before in THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS ~ that first we would be DISTURBED before we would be AMAZED: does not the revelation in THE TESTIMONY OF TRUTH confirm that DISTURBANCE & AMAZEMENT??!?? IS NOT THE SIMPLE BUT PROFOUND WORDS OF JESUS WORTHY OF REFLECTION: "You will not come out of it until you have paid the last penny." (Matthew, Ch.5, v.26)~~~~May this be the fuller part of THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD??? Is this the REAL DESTINY OF MAN ~ TO BE DOOMED TO PERFECTION in ortder to ASCEND???
A BLOSSOM BE....In saying 37 of THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS, Jesus said to his disciples, "When you disrobe without being ashamed and take up your garments and place them under your feet like little children and tread on them, then [will you see] the son of the living one, and you will not be afraid."
In my EPILOGUE to my manuscript, I intimate strongly that the key to ascension is contained in my poem, "THE LOCK & THE KEY" which was placed under "UNPUBLISHED POEMS" section....St. Paul said as much with his beautiful statement about LOVE in 1COR. 1:13 where he stated:
IF I HAVE ALL FAITH AS TO REMOVE MOUNTAINS BUT DO NOT HAVE CHARITY ~ I AM NOTHING.
I have found that the way to unconditionally love (SO AS TO GAIN THE 'GNOSIS') is to love all "life" without reservation. This is the secret of the saints in all parts of the world, so that we remember that we really are DIVINE BEINGS having a human experience. This creates BLOSSOMS like Mahatma Gandhi & Martin Luther King & Paramahansa Yogananda & possibly, YOU & ME!!!
It is not by joining "holy" crusades or by persecuting your fellow man (as in the INQUISITION) or by engaging in maiming & killing your fellow man that you will ascend: IN NO WISE ~~~rather ~ the way to ascension is to follow in the footsteps of the man from Galilee: A BLOSSOM BE...
